Throughout your time at Esher High School you will undertake assessments at the end of the Autumn and Spring terms and a mix of formal examinations and assessments in the Summer term to ensure you develop the necessary metacognitive skills you need as you move towards Key Stage 4.

Students then choose four options from the following subjects, which are examined at GCSE unless otherwise stated:
At Key Stage 4 all students have 4 periods of English Language and 4 periods of English Literature. They have 7 periods of Maths, 8 periods of Science and 5 periods of Religious Education. These lead to GSCEs in each subject (2 in the case of science.) This forms our core curriculum along with 4 periods of Physical Education.
