UCAS tariff points are calculated based on the type of qualification you have and the grade or level you achieve. For example – for those applying to study an undergraduate course in September 2020 – for each A grade that you get at A-level, you’ll be awarded 48 UCAS tariff points (equivalent to PPP at BTEC Extended Diploma), and for every B grade you get 40 points (and so on). You can find full details about the Tariff points system on the UCAS website.
To study with us at undergraduate level, there are certain criteria you will need to meet. Each course has its own entry requirements, so check our course pages. You’ll see the overall UCAS Tariff points required for the course as well as details on how to achieve the points; for example from three A-levels or equivalent, along with GCSE requirements.
